Henham Dragon

Henham Dragon
(English Legend)

One of the more documented dragon in English history. A

pamphlet was published about him in 1669 entitled 'The Flying

Serpent, or Strange News out of Essex', thought to have been

written by a Robert Winstanly.

He was described as being about nine feet long, had small wings

and curious eyes with feather-like eyelashes radiating from

them, not unlike an owls. His tail ended like an arrowhead and

its tongue was also arrow shaped, projecting from a fang-filled

mouth.
