The Haietlic is a serpent from the legends of the Clayoqut and Nootka Native American Indians of the Pacific Coast of Canada.

He is also known as the Lightning Serpent and is described as being a large serpent with a body like an elongated alligator and a huge horse-like head. It inhabited the inland coastal waters and lakes, and was associated with hunting and fishing.
